CidraLine Privacy Policy

1) What CidraLine Does

CidraLine transforms your dessert adventures into a delightful journey with its unique ability to catalog and archive sweet experiences. You can snap a photo of a pastry or dessert, jot down flavor impressions, and build a personal dessert map. You can keep track of favorite confectionery spots, rate and store taste notes, and rediscover past entries.

2) Information We Collect

We collect information in the following categories:

• Account Information (Provided by You): name, username, email address.
• Customer Support Content (Provided by You): content you send when you contact support.
• Content You Create in the App (Provided by You): photos you choose to store, notes, ratings, and other text.
• Location (With Your Permission): precise or approximate location if you allow location access.
• Automatically Collected: device information, usage statistics, crash logs/diagnostics, and location (if authorized).
• Cookies / Similar Technologies (if web-based features exist): login/session, preferences, basic analytics/security (may include web beacons).

Important note about photos and faces:

• We do not perform facial recognition, biometric identification, or create biometric profiles.
• Photos are stored locally by default (on your device), unless you choose to upload them for an online processing feature described below.

3) AI/Server-Side Processing (Optional)

Certain features may allow you to optionally upload photos and/or text to our own servers for processing to help you generate or enhance content (for example, generating descriptive text or organizing entries).

When you choose to use these features:

• Processing is performed on CidraLine’s own servers.
• We do not share the uploaded photos or text with any third party for this processing.
• We do not sell or rent this content.
• The uploaded content is used only to perform the requested processing and is deleted immediately after processing is completed (or as soon as technically feasible).
• We do not use uploaded photos or text to train advertising systems, and we do not use them for marketing.
• You fully control whether to upload content and whether to generate results. If you do not upload, the feature will not run.

4) How We Use Information

• Provide and maintain the App and its core functions
• Create and manage your account and authenticate you
• Personalize your experience (preferences and settings)
• Improve the App (debugging, troubleshooting, performance analysis)
• Provide customer support
• Protect security and integrity (fraud/abuse prevention, enforcement)
• Comply with applicable laws and legal processes

We do not sell your personal information.

5) How We Share Information

We share information only as described below, and only to the minimum extent necessary:

• With your consent, when you direct us to do so.
• Service providers (processors) that help us operate the App (e.g., hosting, analytics, crash reporting, support tooling) under contractual obligations.
• Legal, safety, and rights protection where we believe disclosure is required or appropriate.
• Business transfers as part of a merger, acquisition, or similar event, with appropriate protections.

Note: AI/server-side processing uploads described in Section 3 are not shared with third parties for processing.

6) International Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your country of residence. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms.

7) Security

We implement reasonable measures to protect information, including encryption, access controls, audits, and backups. No method is 100% secure.

8) Data Retention

• Account data: retained for the duration of your account
• After account deletion: deleted or anonymized within 30 days
• Usage analytics: retained up to 12 months
• Customer support content: retained up to 6 months
• Server-side processing uploads: deleted immediately after processing is completed (or as soon as technically feasible)

9) Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent (for example, location access).

10) Children and Age Limits

CidraLine is not directed to children. You must be at least 17 years old to use the App. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

11) Third-Party Links and Services

The App may contain links or integrations to third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices.

12) Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time and will update the Effective Date. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you.

13) Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of our principal place of business, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Privacy Policy will be resolved by binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
